These Terms of Use apply to the Perhe.app mobile application and related services (hereinafter ”Service”, ”Perhe.app”). The Service is provided by Tohmoco Oy (Business ID 3387948-8), domiciled in Helsinki, Finland.

By downloading, installing, or using the Perhe.app application, you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not accept the terms, do not download or use the Service.

1. Description of the Service

Perhe.app is a mobile application that helps families manage daily life together. The application gathers the family’s essential information, tasks, and schedules into one secure and shared view.

The Service may include, among other things:

     

  • a shared family calendar

    •  

  • task lists and division of responsibilities

    •  

  • notes and shared information

    •  

  • shopping lists and daily reminders

    •  

  • storage of images and documents, AI-based suggestions to support daily life

The Service is intended for consumer use (B2C). Business use requires a separate agreement.

2. App Stores and Distribution

Perhe.app is downloadable from the following app stores:

     

  • Apple App Store

    •  

  • Google Play Store

The app stores act as payment intermediaries and subscription managers. In addition to these Terms of Use, the user is also subject to the terms of the respective app store.

3. Registration and User Account

Use of the Service requires creating a user account. The user undertakes to provide correct and up-to-date information in connection with registration.

The user is responsible for:

     

  • the use of their user account

    •  

  • protecting their credentials and devices

    •  

  • all activity that occurs on their account

The user account is personal and may not be transferred to a third party.

Perhe.app reserves the right to close or remove a user account if the terms are violated or the Service is used unlawfully.

4. Free Trial Period

Perhe.app offers a 30 (thirty) day free trial period, unless otherwise indicated in the app store.

During the trial period:

     

  • the Service can be used free of charge

    •  

  • the subscription can be canceled at any time without cost

Unless the subscription is canceled before the end of the trial period, the subscription automatically converts to a paid subscription in accordance with the selected subscription period.

5. Paid Subscription and Billing

Perhe.app uses the in-app purchase system provided by the app stores.

The subscription:

     

  • renews automatically

    •  

  • is charged via the app store

    •  

  • is billed in advance

Payments, cancellations, and refunds are processed in accordance with the terms of the app store. Tohmoco Oy does not process payment card information directly.

The user is responsible for managing the subscription in the app store settings.

6. Right of Withdrawal

Due to the digital nature of the content and the immediate start of the Service, the 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Act does not apply to use already commenced, provided that the user has given their consent to this.

This does not limit cancellation during the free trial period.

7. User-Generated Content

The user can store content in the Service, such as:

     

  • notes

    •  

  • images and documents

    •  

  • internal family information

The user retains full ownership of all content they store.

When storing content, the user grants Perhe.app a limited right of use to process and store the content for the purpose of providing the Service.

Perhe.app does not use user content for marketing nor disclose it to third parties without the user’s consent, unless required by law.

8. AI-Based Features

Perhe.app may offer AI-based suggestions and automations.

These:

     

  • are indicative

    •  

  • are based on information provided by the user

    •  

  • do not replace the user’s own judgment

Perhe.app is not responsible for decisions or actions taken based on AI suggestions.

9. Acceptable Use

The user undertakes to use the Service in accordance with the law and good practice.

The following, among other things, is prohibited:

     

  • commercial use of the Service without permission

    •  

  • technical misuse, hacking, or overloading

    •  

  • automated use without permission

    •  

  • infringing the privacy of other users

10. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights related to Perhe.app, including software, user interface, graphics, and logos, are the property of Tohmoco Oy or its partners.

The user is granted a limited, non-transferable right of use to the Service for personal use.

11. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided ”as is”. The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Perhe.app is not responsible for:

     

  • malfunctions of app stores

    •  

  • data loss

    •  

  • indirect damages

    •  

  • services of third parties

Liability is determined in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

12. Account Deletion

The user can delete their account at any time from the application settings. After account deletion, the user’s data is permanently deleted, excluding data retained due to legal requirements.

13. Changes to Terms of Use

Perhe.app may update these Terms of Use. Changes will be notified in the application or by email. Continued use implies acceptance of the changes.

14. Applicable Law and Disputes

Finnish law applies to these Terms of Use.

Disputes will be primarily resolved by negotiation. A consumer may refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board. Ultimately, the matter will be resolved in the Helsinki District Court.

15. Data Protection

Perhe.app processes personal data in accordance with the Privacy Policy. An up-to-date Privacy Policy is available in the application and on the website.
